When Motorola launched the first generation Moto G, it astonished everyone. The device offered a powerful hardware and decent set of features at an attractive price. This made it an excellent value for money and thus an immediate success in the Indian market. This forced other manufacturers to come up with similar devices that offer good value at an attractive price. So we saw the entry of many devices that are just as good value.

New Moto G

Now they have launched the new Moto G which improves upon the already good Moto G. it comes with a bigger 5 inch display instead of the 4.5 inch display and also comes with a high resolution camera. The basic hardware remains the same even on this device though they have added a micro SD card slot this time. It is also priced very well just like the first generation device but now it faces tough competition from many other devices. We list down some of these devices for you to consider before you go online and order the Moto G.

Asus Zenfone 5

This is one of the closest rivals to the new Moto G. until now it was being compared to the old Moto G and termed as better device in some fields but now the scale has changed with the new device. The Asus Zenfone 5 has got a 5 inch display as the name suggests. It has the same display resolution as the Moto G and the display uses same technology so expect similar quality. The build quality of Moto G is impressive but the Zenfone is better. Not only it looks better than the Moto G, it feels better built as well. The design is attractive giving it a premium feel.
